Boy Scouts of America SNJC SCOUTREACH-CAMDEN
SCOUTREACH MISSION STATEMENT
To implement a comprehensive service plan to meet the needs of the
diverse population by bringing Scouting and its value education to urban
centers. Improve communications and understanding with those living in
our inner city areas and to recruit strong adult leaders and to develop
solid relationships with community organizations. To secure the support
to insure that culturally economically diverse youth have the
opportunity to join Scouting programs. Finally, to promote the
principals of character, citizenship, leadership and service to the
community and chartering organizations.
SCOUTREACH HIGHLIGHTS
2000 was marked by increased expansion of Boy Scouts of America
opportunities in our urban and rural outreach programs from Camden City to Bridgeton.
